We analyse, translate, edit, evaluate, research, position, document, train, improve workflows and build practical reusable systems within our defined areas of expertise. We use AI where it genuinely helps — with human judgement and quality control.
We are not a law firm, notary, medical adviser, cybersecurity consultancy, data-protection law practice, software engineering house or enterprise systems architect. Career services are practical positioning support, not licensed psychological assessment.
We will say so. Depending on the project, we may work alongside or refer you to an appropriately qualified independent professional. Specialist involvement is never implied unless it has actually been agreed.

From RT Translate to Starklingua
Founded in 2007 as RT Translate, the business has evolved into Starklingua: a founder-led studio combining nearly two decades of language-services experience with professional positioning, quality management, operations and practical AI-enabled workflows.
Rentia's background spans translation and localisation, multilingual project management, quality assurance, regulated content, customer operations, business development and AI-enabled process improvement. Starklingua brings those disciplines together without pretending that every client needs the same solution.
Core working languages include English, Dutch/Flemish and Afrikaans. Broader language requirements can be coordinated with suitable external linguists where appropriate.
Straightforward commercial terms
Starklingua works with translation agencies, private individuals, professionals and businesses, so one universal price list would be misleading. Final pricing is confirmed before work begins and depends on scope, volume, complexity, turnaround and client type.
Most services are payable in advance or by agreed project milestones. Approved established business and agency clients may be offered invoicing terms by prior agreement.
Longer projects can use deposits, milestones or agreed monthly retainers. Additional work outside the agreed scope is confirmed before it is undertaken.
